Makers can be defined as anyone that makes things. While its roots are tech-related, the maker movement has morphed into home grown do-it-yourselfers. From jewelry makers to pickling fruits and vegetables, bee keeping, composting and growing your own food. For some it’s hobby-related, but for many, they could end up making great products and selling them online.
Photographers Trinette + Chris have been wanting to focus on maker type subjects for some time, small businesses and the combination of the two.”We feel there is a movement of consumers wanting to support more local small businesses and makers rather than big box corporate stores and this fit in perfectly with that movement. We ourselves are a small business and in essence makers of photo and video content and we feel this subject matter aligns with what we do as well”.
